When I finally got out of the hostel, I went exploring, and found Chiang Kai Sheck Memorial Park. This place is beautiful. There's some fantastic architecture, and amazing gardens surrounding it. I like to go there after a day of exploring and just soak in the nature - it's easy to forget that you're in the heart of the city when you're sitting underneath an orange tree watching koi.
