The Road to Vancouver

The butter trailer!

Trapped in car wash.  Send help.
Forest fires in BC meant that most of Alberta was shrouded in smoke, which made viewing the mountains a bit difficult.  Also, everything smelt like a campfire.

We stopped at the Storytime Village on the way.  It was awesome, and we even fed some ducks.

So, after months and years of talking about it, I finally bit the bullet and made my way west to catch a plane for Asia.  Jessica and Damien volunteered to drive me - they had just come back from a week long road trip to Saskatchewan, but knew I needed a way out to Vancouver.  We made it in about 13 hours, stopping in Canmore on the way.  It was a fun trip, and I'm glad I got a chance to hang out with them one last time before I left.
